Welcoming Brian Bearor as Vice President of Sales
Brian Bearor was recently named Stored Technology Solutions, Inc Vice President of Sales as of July 18th, 2022. He will be continuing his successful career after serving as the Chief Operating Officer at the YMCA for several years.
StoredTech has grown to over 70 employees since 2010 with offices in Queensbury, Plattsburgh, Albany, plus Raleigh, North Carolina and Clark, Philippines. Bearor will be spending time between New York & North Carolina in his new position. He says he looks forward to working with owner, Mark Shaw, and the entire team as, “they are a really accomplished group of individuals doing great things.”
When asked his greatest work-related accomplishment, he remained humble when stating that it’s the rewarding relationships that he has developed over the years with area leaders. He looks forward to continuing relationships and working with the StoredTech team on shared goals. He sees StoredTech as a move that just makes sense. “As a company, they want to grow into new markets, develop existing business and exceed expectations.”
One great difference Bearor will face is being in the technology field, though no one finds that an issue. He noted most of his career has been in the non-profit world, but there are a lot of intersections that have led to him stepping into this role. “We are ecstatic to welcome Brian to StoredTech. His leadership skills and enthusiasm will surely make a positive impact,” Vice President of Finance Katie Roeder said. Mark Shaw, owner and founder, stated, “We are excited to have Brian bring his proven track record of success to StoredTech.”
Bearor received a bachelor’s degree from Green Mountain College. He started out in Glens Falls, NY then moved to Charlotte NC, Logansport IN, Fairfield OH, Port Charlotte FL, Bloomsburg PA and finally circled back to Glens Falls in 2009. He had no hesitation in stating his greatest accomplishment in life is his family. He added that he is very proud of his two daughters, Elizabeth and Caroline and his wife, Cathy.
Recently, StoredTech was ranked #11 on Albany Business Reviews list of Albany’s Fastest-Growing Companies and named Times Union “Top Work Places” in 2022.
